Ladies and Gentlemen!
We are pleased to invite you to the 8th Engineering Geology Challenges Conference in Poland (8thWPGI), which will take place on 15-18 October 2024 in Łódź (Poland) and will be organized by the Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute.
The WPGI is held regularly every three years. It links together the representatives from various regions of Poland, characterized by different geological conditions and hazards. The Conference is very popular and is one of the largest national scientific events, which is devoted primarily to issues in engineering geology.
The 7th WPGI was held on September 14-17, 2021 in Bydgoszcz, in a hybrid form (online and stationary). It was the opportunity to exchange experiences and views on improving the quality of geological and engineering documentation in such a large group of experts and scientists. The WPGI enabled the transfer of knowledge from science to business and the flow of practical experience from business to the scientific community.
Basing on the success of previous events, the 8th WPGI programme will encompass a wide range of workshops, technical sessions and panels.
